Client on a mid-size general-service schedule. A temporary infrastructure rider that was supposed to expire at the end of 2024 continued to appear on every bill through February 2026. The tariff language is clear on the sunset date. Utility acknowledged the error after we highlighted the specific rider sheet and the last authorized recovery period. Credit issued for $9,450. Simple catch, but easy to miss if you only look at the base rate schedule. I now keep a one-page rider expiration checklist for each major utility.
