Client is a 280 kW injection-molding facility in the Duke Energy Carolinas territory that has been on Schedule SGS since the plant opened in early 2022. Their demand never dropped below 220 kW. The industrial schedule (LGS) would have applied from day one. After we assembled the equipment list, SIC documentation, and three years of interval data, Duke reclassified the account effective October 2022 and issued a $47,300 credit covering the rate differential plus demand and energy components. Ongoing annual savings are about $14k. Anyone else seeing long-lived SGS/LGS mismatches on plants that started during the 2021–2022 construction surge?
