Curious how other solo auditors structure their day. Do you audit in the morning and prospect in the afternoon, or the opposite? I can't seem to find a rhythm that works.

What's everyone's morning routine?
Prospecting first thing in the morning, 8-10 AM. That's when decision makers are at their desks and receptive. Audit work from 10 AM to 4 PM when I need focus. Admin and follow-ups from 4-5 PM. Took me two years to find this rhythm but it works.
Opposite for me. I do my best analytical work before 10 AM when my brain is fresh. Calls and meetings in the afternoon. I'm a morning person though — this won't work for everyone.
Going to try Karen's approach — prospecting first, then analysis. I've been doing analysis all morning and by afternoon I have no energy to make calls. Flipping the order makes sense.
