I have a rate classification dispute with Xcel Energy in Minnesota. Been going back and forth with regular customer service for 3 months and getting nowhere. They keep saying the rate is correct but I have the tariff in front of me and the client clearly qualifies for the A14 rate instead of A13. Does anyone have a contact in their commercial billing department or regulatory affairs?

Xcel Energy contact - best person for commercial disputes?
Gil, stop wasting time with customer service. File a formal complaint with the Minnesota PUC. That gets escalated to Xcel's regulatory team who actually understand tariff classification. I had the exact same runaround last year and the PUC complaint resolved it in 3 weeks. The online filing takes about 20 minutes.
