Is anyone planning to attend the Energy Management Conference in Dallas next month? I've been to several AAUBA events but this would be my first time at the broader energy management conference. Wondering if it's worth the time and expense for utility auditors or if it's more focused on facility management and operations. Would love to connect with other AAUBA members who might be attending.

Anyone attending the Energy Management Conference in Dallas?
I went to that conference two years ago and found it pretty valuable. About 30% of the content is directly relevant to utility auditing - sessions on rate analysis, demand response programs, and regulatory changes. The networking is excellent though, and you'll meet a lot of potential referral sources (energy consultants, facility managers, etc.). If you can get a client to sponsor your attendance or write it off as business development, I'd say go for it. The vendor expo alone usually has several utility representatives you can build relationships with.
