Got a new office building client in Arlington and found something concerning. The utility''s position is that the meter was configured correctly, but the tariff language doesn''t support that. I''ve calculated total overcharges at approximately $147,000 going back 6 years.
Be careful with Oncor''s refund process — they sometimes try to limit the lookback period to 2 years.
Nice find. I''ve started using a custom Excel template to cross-reference these calculations and it saves a ton of time.
Had the exact same problem with Ameren Missouri last year. Took about 12 months to resolve but got full refund.
