Got a new hospital client in Tampa and found something concerning. Three of the 18 months show estimated reads with no true-up. The demand ratchet is being applied at 80% instead of the tariff''s 75%.
I''d recommend requesting the meter test records from JEA. That''s what cracked my case open.
I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility''s escalation process first — it''s faster.
Ed T, you should also check the tax exemptions while you''re at it. These errors tend to cluster.
Good work Diana R. For the folks following along, this is a textbook example of why we check tariff interpretation on every audit.
Be careful with CenterPoint Energy''s refund process — they sometimes try to limit the lookback period to 2 years.
