Tricky rate classification error situation at Duke Energy

Wanted to share a lesson learned from a recent FPL audit. The Rate GST rate schedule clearly states seasonal rates apply May-October, but the bill shows 100% ratchet applied. I''ve calculated total overcharges at approximately $234,000 going back 4 years.

I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility''s escalation process first — it''s faster.
