Interesting development with my Evergy dispute. I''ve calculated total overcharges at approximately $3,100 going back 6 years. We pulled 18 months of billing history and found the backbilling violation started in 2012.
Solid analysis. One thing I''d add is to verify the power factor minimum 0.95 against the original service application.
Great catch, Knox L. I''ve seen DTE Energy do this before — it''s a systemic issue in their billing system.
Nice find. I''ve started using a Python script I wrote to cross-reference these calculations and it saves a ton of time.
Gail R, what was the client''s reaction when you showed them the $112,000 overcharge?
I''d recommend requesting the meter test records from Liberty Utilities. That''s what cracked my case open.
