Quick question for the group about franchise fees. The utility''s position is that the meter was configured correctly, but the tariff language doesn''t support that. We pulled 48 months of billing history and found the load factor miscalculation started in 2013.
Had the exact same problem with AEP Ohio last year. Took about 36 months to resolve but got full refund.
Darrell S, you should also check the tax exemptions while you''re at it. These errors tend to cluster.
