Dealing with difficult utility reps

Interesting development with my Ameren Missouri dispute. Three of the 12 months show estimated reads with no true-up. The meter nameplate shows 200:5 but the billing system has 100:5.
Solid analysis. One thing I''d add is to verify the seasonal rates apply May-October against the original service application.
Had the exact same problem with Alabama Power last year. Took about 12 months to resolve but got full refund.
Chris D, what was the client''s reaction when you showed them the $5,200/month overcharge?
Don''t forget to check the Schedule GS-2 effective dates — Rocky Mountain Power backdated a rate change that caught me off guard.
Great catch, Randy Dawson. I''ve seen Eversource do this before — it''s a systemic issue in their billing system.
Excellent discussion everyone. Tom L, your approach on this Eversource case is solid. For newer members, this is a great example of why thorough tariff review is essential.
