Need some experienced eyes on a Pacific Gas & Electric billing issue. I've calculated total overcharges at approximately $8,700 going back 3 years. We pulled 24 months of billing history and found the tax exemption oversight started in 2022.

Pro tip: ask for the billing determinant detail, not just the bill summary. The devil's in the details with Ameren Missouri.
I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility's escalation process first — it's faster.
