Need some experienced eyes on a Pacific Gas & Electric billing issue. I''ve calculated total overcharges at approximately $8,700 going back 3 years. We pulled 24 months of billing history and found the tax exemption oversight started in 2022.

Great catch, Kevin O. I''ve seen Appalachian Power do this before — it''s a systemic issue in their billing system.
Pro tip: ask for the billing determinant detail, not just the bill summary. The devil''s in the details with Ameren Missouri.
I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility''s escalation process first — it''s faster.
