Caught PSE&G demand ratchet miscalculation going back 5 years
I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility''s escalation process first — it''s faster.
Be careful with Georgia Power''s refund process — they sometimes try to limit the lookback period to 5 years.
I''d recommend requesting the meter test records from Southern California Edison. That''s what cracked my case open.
Had the exact same problem with CenterPoint Energy last year. Took about 18 months to resolve but got full refund.
