Need some experienced eyes on a National Grid billing issue. I''ve calculated total overcharges at approximately $12,400 going back 2 years. Client''s been paying $12,400 too much every month since 2017.

Caught ConEd load factor miscalculation going back 3 years
Dale R, what was the client''s reaction when you showed them the $1,600/month overcharge?
I disagree with the approach of going straight to the PUC. Try the utility''s escalation process first — it''s faster.
Had the exact same problem with Dominion Energy last year. Took about 36 months to resolve but got full refund.
Joe T, you should also check the demand charges while you''re at it. These errors tend to cluster.
