Got a new car dealership client in Tucson and found something concerning. Client''s been paying $67,000 too much every month since 2015. Compared the interval data against the bill and found TOU allocation doesn''t match meter timestamps.

Rookie mistake I made auditing MidAmerican Energy bills
I''d recommend requesting the meter test records from CPS Energy. That''s what cracked my case open.
Great catch, Beverly. I''ve seen FirstEnergy do this before — it''s a systemic issue in their billing system.
Be careful with APS''s refund process — they sometimes try to limit the lookback period to 5 years.
Nice find. I''ve started using a Python script I wrote to cross-reference these calculations and it saves a ton of time.
Phil N, what was the client''s reaction when you showed them the $12,400 overcharge?
