Follow-up on my earlier post about franchise fees. Sales tax is being charged even though the client has a valid exemption certificate on file. The TOU peak window on the bill doesn''t match the current tariff definition.

Had the exact same problem with CPS Energy last year. Took about 12 months to resolve but got full refund.
Nice find. I''ve started using the AAUBA audit workbook to cross-reference these calculations and it saves a ton of time.
Tom G, you should also check the meter configuration while you''re at it. These errors tend to cluster.
