Planning a Midwest regional meetup for late September in the Chicago area. ComEd has been rolling out some significant rate changes that are affecting how we audit commercial accounts. Thinking we could do a day-long session covering the new tariff structures plus networking. Anyone from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, or Missouri interested in attending?

Elmer, count me in from Cleveland! We've been dealing with similar issues with FirstEnergy's new rate schedules. Would love to compare notes on audit approaches. September works well for me - are you thinking downtown Chicago or suburbs? Hotel costs downtown can be pretty steep for a regional meetup.
Definitely interested from Cincinnati! Duke Energy has been implementing changes too, so this would be perfect timing. I can help with logistics if needed - have contacts at several Chicago area hotels from corporate events. What's the target date? I'm blocked out the last week of September but otherwise flexible.

Perfect location choice, Elmer. O'Hare area is convenient for everyone flying in. Should we plan a group dinner Friday night for early arrivals? I know a great steakhouse near the hotel. Also, are we doing any vendor presentations or keeping it purely educational/networking?
Just got back from the meetup - what a great event! The ComEd rate analysis session was incredibly valuable, and the networking was fantastic.
