Pacific Northwest AAUBA Webinar Series Announcement

Exciting news for our Pacific Northwest members! We're launching a monthly webinar series focused on regional utility billing issues. First session is February 20th at 2 PM PST covering Puget Sound Energy's new time-of-use rates. I've been tracking billing errors since they launched the program and found over $200,000 in overcharges across my client base. We'll share case studies and billing error patterns that other regional utilities are likely to implement.
David, this is fantastic! Eugene Water & Electric just announced they're adopting similar TOU rates starting in March. Your PSE experience will be invaluable for getting ahead of their billing problems. Can you share the webinar registration link?
Clyde, I'll post the registration link later today. March topic will be perfect for your EWEB situation - we're planning to cover municipal utility TOU implementations. Also looking for someone to present on Portland General Electric billing issues for the April session. Anyone have interesting PGE cases?
David, would love to join these webinars even from North Dakota. The billing practices tend to spread eastward and MDU often copies what the larger western utilities implement. Registration information would be great!
I could present on PGE for April! Just closed a $127,000 case involving their industrial demand charge calculation errors. The billing system problems seem to affect multiple rate schedules. Would be happy to share the technical details with the group.
Perfect Clyde! Boyd, absolutely - these webinars are open to all AAUBA members. The billing error patterns definitely spread across regions. Registration link posted on the main AAUBA events page. Looking forward to building this into a regular educational resource for our western members.
This webinar series sounds incredible! AEP Texas has been watching Pacific utilities closely and I'm seeing similar billing system implementations down here. Would love to learn from your regional experience before these problems hit Texas. Registered for all upcoming sessions.
Great work organizing this David! The regional approach to sharing billing error intelligence is exactly what AAUBA should be facilitating. I'll promote this series in our weekly coffee chats. These proactive educational efforts help all of us stay ahead of utility billing problems instead of just reacting to them.
