Virtual Coffee Hour - Every Friday 3pm CT Starting Next Week

Fellow auditors! With everything still being virtual, I thought we could start a weekly informal coffee hour via Zoom. Every Friday at 3pm Central, just a casual 30-45 minute chat about whatever's on your mind. War stories, rate questions, industry gossip, whatever. I'll send out the Zoom link to anyone interested. No formal agenda, just good old-fashioned shop talk.
Love this idea Randy! KU just implemented some confusing new demand charges that I'd love to bounce off the group. Plus I've got a client questioning a $15K adjustment and could use some perspective.
Count me in! Entergy Louisiana has been a nightmare lately with their rate schedule GS-LPP changes. Would be great to have a regular forum to discuss these headaches with people who actually understand.
I'm interested but 3pm CT is 4pm here in Cincinnati. That works for me most Fridays. Duke Energy Ohio has been making some major tariff revisions that are giving me fits.
Perfect timing Randy! I just landed a huge hospital account with Entergy Arkansas and their Schedule LGS-TOU is completely different from what I'm used to. Looking forward to getting some input from the group.
Excellent response everyone! First coffee hour is this Friday 9/10 at 3pm CT. I'll email the Zoom link Thursday evening. Come with your questions, stories, and maybe a good cup of coffee!
Great first session! Really enjoyed hearing about everyone's current projects. That Entergy billing error case was fascinating - $340K in overcharges going back three years. Looking forward to next week already.
Thanks for hosting Randy! The discussion about power factor penalties was exactly what I needed. Just applied those techniques to a manufacturing client and found $23K in annual savings.
These Friday sessions are becoming the highlight of my week! The collective knowledge in this group is amazing. That Duke Energy rate optimization strategy is going to save my client at least $50K annually.
Glad everyone's finding value in these sessions. We've had 12-15 people each week which is perfect for good discussion. Keep bringing those challenging cases - we all learn from each other's experiences.
Just wanted to say these coffee hours have been incredibly valuable. The PSO rate analysis we discussed two weeks ago helped me identify $85K in potential savings for a retail chain client. This informal format really works well.
