Hey everyone! We're planning our first Southeast regional meetup here in Atlanta for April 20th. I've got a conference room reserved at the Marriott downtown from 10am-4pm. Looking to cover Georgia Power rate schedule changes and some war stories from recent audits. Who's interested? I'm hoping to get 15-20 folks together. RSVP by April 10th so I can get an accurate headcount for lunch.
AAUBA Southeast Regional Meetup - Atlanta April 2013
Count me in Rachel! I can drive down from Charlotte that morning. Duke Energy just rolled out some new tariff structures that might be worth discussing too. I've got about $180K in savings documented from Q1 alone using the new analysis methods we talked about last year.
I'll be there! TVA territory has been wild lately with their new time-of-use rates. Just saved a manufacturing client $45K annually by shifting their production schedule. Would love to share that case study if there's time on the agenda.
Memphis checking in - I can make the drive over. Been working with MLGW on some major industrial accounts and their new demand response programs are actually pretty decent. Saved one client $78K last quarter alone. Looking forward to comparing notes with everyone.
Louisville here - I'm in! LG&E has been making some interesting moves with their commercial rates. Plus I've got a horror story about a $250K billing error that took 18 months to resolve. Perfect material for the meetup.
Wish I could join but San Antonio to Atlanta is a bit far for a day trip! Hope y'all have a great time. Maybe we can set up a Southwest regional meetup later this year?
Final headcount is 18 people! Agenda is set and I've confirmed lunch for everyone. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday. Don't forget to bring business cards and any case studies you want to share.
Great meetup Rachel! Thanks for organizing. The Georgia Power case study presentations were excellent. Already implementing some of those audit techniques back here in Cleveland with FirstEnergy accounts.
