Working on an Eversource account in Connecticut and struggling with their telecom tariff Schedule T-19. Client is being charged $567/month for "dedicated data circuits" but the tariff language is incredibly vague. Has anyone dealt with Eversource telecom billing before? The rate structure doesn't match anything I've seen with other utilities.

Telecom tariff interpretation - need help with Eversource
Vince, I had a similar issue with MLGW's telecom tariffs here in Memphis. The key is getting them to define exactly what "dedicated" means in their context. Often these charges are for shared infrastructure that shouldn't be billed at dedicated rates. Demand detailed service specifications.
Thanks Amir. I'll try that approach. The Eversource rep keeps saying it's "standard industry practice" but can't explain why the rates are 40% higher than comparable Verizon business services. Something doesn't add up here.
