Teaching interval data analysis to visual learners

I've got a new hire who's struggling with 15-minute interval data analysis despite being sharp with other concepts. She's definitely a visual learner but our standard spreadsheet approach isn't clicking. Dominion Energy provides excellent interval data but presenting it effectively is the challenge. Any suggestions for visual training methods that have worked for your visual learners?
Alice, try heat maps for load profiles. I create color-coded charts where high demand periods show up as red and low demand as blue. Makes it immediately obvious when facilities are wasting energy during off-peak hours. Oncor's time-of-use rates become much clearer when you can literally see the expensive periods in red. Most people grasp the concept within minutes.
Howard's heat map idea is excellent. I also use animated load profile charts that show how demand changes throughout a typical day. Watching the demand curve rise and fall like a heartbeat helps visual learners understand load patterns intuitively. MLGW's interval data works perfectly for this approach. The 'aha moment' when they see demand spikes correlate with equipment startup is priceless.
