Jim used to post here pretty regularly a few years back - did audits for a lot of manufacturing clients in the Columbus area. Haven't seen him active on the forum in over a year. His website is still up but the contact form isn't working. Anyone know if he's still in business or if he retired? I've got a potential client in Columbus that could use his services if he's still around.

I think you're talking about Jim Patterson? He was active here maybe 2019-2020 timeframe. I heard through the grapevine that he sold his client list to a larger firm and retired early. Health issues I believe. Nice guy, really knew his stuff with industrial rate schedules. If you need someone in Columbus area I can recommend Sarah Mitchell - she's picked up some of Jim's former clients and does good work.
Lloyd's right, Jim retired in late 2020. Had some heart problems and decided to step back from the business. He's doing well though - ran into him at a conference last year and he looked great. Spending time with grandkids and doing some volunteer work. Sarah Mitchell is definitely a solid choice for Columbus area work. She's got good relationships with AEP Ohio and really knows the commercial rate structures. I can put you in touch if you need her contact info.
