Ameren Missouri just filed their rate case with some significant changes to Schedule LGS (Large General Service). They're proposing to eliminate the seasonal rate differential and move to year-round peak/off-peak pricing. The summer peak period is expanding from 4 hours to 6 hours daily. For large commercial customers, this could increase annual costs by 8-12%. Anyone else following this case?

Ameren Missouri Rate Case - Schedule LGS Changes
Elmer, I'm not in Missouri but we saw similar changes with Entergy Louisiana last year. The year-round peak pricing hit our industrial customers hard during mild weather months when they weren't expecting peak charges. Make sure your clients understand the new billing determinants before the rates go into effect. The transition period can be brutal if they're not prepared.
Juan, that's exactly my concern. Most of my Missouri clients budget based on seasonal rate patterns. Moving to year-round peak/off-peak will require completely new load management strategies. The public hearings start next month, but given Ameren's track record, these changes will probably be approved with minor modifications.
