Not a huge recovery but satisfying nonetheless. MLGW here in Memphis was applying fuel adjustment charges to a church's account that should have been exempt under their non-profit rate schedule. Only $3,200 total recovery over 8 months, but the principle mattered. Sometimes it's worth fighting for what's right even on smaller amounts.

Small Win But Sweet Victory - MLGW Fuel Adjustment Overcharge
Amir, good for you! Those smaller cases are important too, especially for non-profits who really feel every dollar. Did MLGW give you any pushback on the exemption or was it straightforward once you pointed out the error?
Terry's right - non-profit rate schedule violations are worth pursuing regardless of dollar amount. Here in Nashville with NES I see similar issues where religious and educational exemptions get overlooked in billing. Amir, was this a manual billing error or system programming issue?
