Eversource regulatory staff completely unhelpful

Having the worst time trying to get straight answers from Eversource regulatory department here in Connecticut. Been trying to get clarification on their Schedule GS rate structure for three weeks now. Every person I talk to gives me a different interpretation of the demand billing provisions. One rep told me the ratchet resets quarterly, another said annually, and a third claimed there's no ratchet at all on that schedule! Client is paying about $8K monthly and I suspect they're being overbilled but can't get consistent information. Anyone else dealing with Eversource having similar issues?
Vince, I feel your pain. Had similar issues with Duke Energy down here in Charlotte, though not quite as bad as what you're describing. What finally worked was asking to speak to a supervisor and explaining that I was getting conflicting information. They assigned me to a senior rate analyst who actually knew the tariffs inside and out. Might be worth escalating rather than dealing with the front-line folks.
Derek's advice about escalating is solid. Georgia Power used to jerk me around the same way until I started asking for supervisors immediately. Also, try requesting everything in writing. When they have to put their interpretation in an email, they tend to be more careful about accuracy. The regulatory staff don't want to create a paper trail of wrong information.
Both good suggestions. I'll try escalating and definitely start requesting written responses. It's frustrating because this should be straightforward - the tariff language seems clear to me, but apparently not to their own staff. Thanks for the advice.
