TEP account manager actually called ME back!

Just had to share this small victory. Been trying to get clarification on a complex demand ratchet calculation for one of my commercial clients here in Tucson. Left a voicemail for the TEP account manager on Friday afternoon, not expecting much. Lo and behold, she actually called me back this morning AND had already pulled the account details! Explained the whole calculation step by step and even emailed me the relevant tariff sections. Sometimes the system actually works!
That's awesome Omar! Those moments make all the frustrating calls worth it. I've had similar luck with Eugene Water & Electric Board lately. Seems like the smaller utilities sometimes have better customer service than the big guys. Their commercial billing specialist actually knows my voice now when I call.
You're absolutely right about the smaller utilities, Clyde. TEP is still pretty big but nowhere near the size of APS. I think the key was being very specific in my voicemail - gave the account number, exact billing period, and the specific tariff section I was questioning. Made it easy for her to prep before calling back.
