Best mobile apps for field audits?

I'm doing more on-site audits lately and getting tired of paper clipboards and manual notes. What mobile apps are people using for field data collection? I need something that works offline since cell service is spotty in some industrial areas around Sioux City. Bonus points if it syncs with Excel or has decent reporting features.
Dana, I've been using FormConnect Pro on my iPad for about two years now. Works great offline and syncs to Dropbox when you get back to wifi. I built custom forms for meter readings, equipment inspections, and billing discrepancy documentation. The photo integration is really handy for documenting meter configurations.
I second FormConnect Pro - solid choice Pete. I also use Fulcrum for more complex audits where I need GPS coordinates and detailed asset tracking. It's cloud-based but has good offline capabilities. The data exports directly to CSV which makes analysis easier back at the office. Runs about $20 per month though.
Thanks for the suggestions! FormConnect Pro looks promising and the price is right. Omar, does Fulcrum handle complex calculations or is it mainly data collection? Some of my MidAmerican Energy audits require real-time load calculations in the field.
Dana, for calculations I've found it's better to stick with Excel on a tablet. Most field apps are great for data collection but limited for complex math. I use Microsoft Forms for simple data entry then import to Excel for analysis. Entergy Arkansas has some complicated rate structures that need real spreadsheet power to evaluate properly.
