Quick question for anyone familiar with Alabama Power's Schedule TOU-RD. Does the summer peak window include weekends or just weekdays? The tariff language is confusing and I'm getting conflicting information from Alabama Power customer service. Working on a residential account in Mobile with high weekend usage.

Alabama Power TOU Question
Leon, Alabama Power TOU-RD peak periods are weekdays only, excluding holidays. Summer peak is 1PM-7PM Monday through Friday, June through September. Weekends are always off-peak regardless of time. The tariff sheet should specify this in Section 3 under "Time Periods." If customer service told you otherwise, they're wrong.
Albert, thanks for the clarification. That's what I thought but the customer service rep insisted weekends were included during summer months. I'll use the actual tariff language in my analysis. This should save the customer about $200/month during peak season since they run pool equipment on weekends.
