It's January and the RFPs are starting to roll in from state universities. Got three already this week - Ohio State, University of Georgia, and Penn State. The paperwork is insane and they all want different formats. How do you guys manage multiple RFP responses efficiently?

University RFP season - anyone else swamped?
I use a master template with all the standard sections and just customize for each one. The key is having your case studies and references organized. Most universities want to see other higher ed experience, not just general commercial work.
Don't forget about the DBE requirements - a lot of state schools have minority business participation goals. Partner with someone if you need to meet those thresholds. Also budget extra time - university procurement moves at glacial speed.
Good point on the DBE stuff Patricia. Already partnered with a local firm for the Ohio State bid. These sales cycles are brutal though - 6-8 months from RFP to contract signing.
