Client has national account agreements with some utilities but individual relationships with others across their 200+ locations. The national account reps are much easier to work with but don't always have insight into local billing issues. How do you balance working through corporate utility contacts vs direct local relationships?

National accounts vs individual utility relationships
Frank, I use both channels. National account reps are great for LOAs and high-level rate questions, but local customer service often knows the nitty-gritty billing details. Don't burn bridges with either - you need both relationships.
Makes sense Juan. Been trying to work exclusively through national reps but you're right - they don't always know the local tariff nuances. Guess I need to maintain both sets of relationships.
