Working on a franchise audit (think major burger chain) and running into confusion about LOA authority. Some locations are corporate-owned, others are franchisee-owned. Corporate says they can't sign LOAs for franchise locations, but individual franchisees are hesitant. Anyone dealt with this structure before?

Franchise operations - who signs the LOA?
Scott, I've seen this with pizza chains. Usually the franchise agreement determines who handles utilities. You might need separate LOAs - corporate for company-owned stores, individual franchisees for their locations. Pain in the butt but necessary for legal protection.
That's what I was afraid of Albert. Looks like I'll be chasing down 30+ individual franchisees. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
