Quick question - I have a steel plant served at 34.5 kV primary voltage by AEP Ohio, but they're not getting any voltage discount on their bills. The tariff clearly shows discounts for primary service. Am I missing something or is this an error?

Voltage Discount Not Applied - Primary Service
Mike, check if they own their own transformers. Some voltage discounts only apply if the customer owns and maintains the transformation equipment. If AEP owns the transformers, they might not qualify for the full discount.
Good catch Anita! I'll check the transformer ownership. The discount could be worth $1,500/month if they qualify, so definitely worth investigating.
