Quick question - found a restaurant where all their lighting (interior dining room, kitchen, exterior sign) is lumped together on outdoor lighting tariff. Seems like only the sign should be on that rate. Anyone know ComEd's rules on this?
Restaurant lighting on wrong tariff - signage vs interior
ComEd is pretty strict about lighting classifications. Interior lighting should be on general commercial rate. Only true outdoor/sign lighting qualifies for lighting tariffs. Easy fix usually.
That's what I thought. Restaurant's bill is about $1,900/month so not huge but should be decent savings. Thanks Rick!
