FPL agreed to correct a $6,800 billing error but they want to issue bill credits instead of a refund check. Customer prefers cash but FPL says credits are faster. What's been your experience - is it worth pushing for the check?

FPL Credit vs Refund Check - Which Should I Push For?
Robert - depends on the customer's monthly bill. If they have high usage, credits work fine. But for smaller accounts, it could take years to use up $6,800 in credits. I'd push for the check unless their monthly bill is over $500.
Art's right. Also consider if the customer might move locations. Credits don't always transfer cleanly between accounts. Cash is always better if you can get it.
Customer's bill is only about $300/month so credits would take almost 2 years to use up. Going to push for the check. Thanks guys!
