Just wanted to share the good news - ConEd finally issued a check for $18,200 after a brutal 14-month dispute over incorrect demand billing on Schedule SC-9. Had to escalate to the NY PSC twice and threaten legal action. The key was getting meter download data that clearly showed their demand multiplier was wrong for 3 years. Sometimes persistence really does pay off!

Great outcome Anita. ConEd disputes are notorious for dragging on forever. For others dealing with similar situations - document everything and don't be afraid to escalate to the PSC early if they're stonewalling. The threat of regulatory scrutiny often gets things moving.
Pete - no interest unfortunately, but I wasn't going to push my luck. Randy's right about escalating early. I wasted 8 months trying to work through their customer service before filing with the PSC.
Similar experience here with ConEd a few years back. Took 11 months but got $12K. Their billing department seems to operate in a different universe sometimes.
