Found a rate schedule error at an Xcel customer going back 4 years. Worth about $22K. Does anyone know their statute of limitations for billing adjustments? Can't find it clearly stated in their tariffs.

Xcel Energy backdate policy - anyone know their limit?
Xcel varies by state. In Colorado it's 3 years, Minnesota is 5 years. Which territory are you in? That makes all the difference for your claim.
Colorado customer here - just recovered 32 months from Xcel last year. They'll go to the full 3 years if the error is clear and documented. Make sure you have solid tariff references for the entire period.
This is Colorado, so 3 years should cover most of it. Still looking at $16-17K recovery. Thanks for the info - will proceed with the claim.
