Looking at filing a formal complaint with the MPSC against DTE for a $41K billing dispute they keep stonewalling. Has anyone gone through Michigan's formal complaint process recently? What should I expect for timeline and costs?

DTE formal complaint process - anyone been through it lately?
Filed one against DTE in 2022. Took about 6 months from filing to decision. MPSC is pretty thorough - they'll want all your documentation organized and clear. Worth the $25 filing fee for a $41K case.
Thanks Chester - that timeline is reasonable for the amount involved. Did you need an attorney or handle it yourself? I'm comfortable with the technical side but haven't done MPSC procedure before.
Handled it myself - the MPSC staff is helpful with procedure questions. Just make sure your timeline and evidence are bulletproof. DTE's lawyers will look for any holes in your case.
