Duke Energy dispute timeline - 14 months and counting

Filed a dispute with Duke Energy in January 2013 for incorrect demand billing on Schedule LGS. We're talking $85K over 4 years. It's now March 2014 and they keep asking for more documentation. How long is too long before escalating to the NCUC?
14 months is ridiculous for any dispute. I'd file the NCUC complaint now - Duke knows they're dragging their feet. Make sure you have all your correspondence documented with dates.
Duke has been really slow lately on large disputes. The NCUC filing usually gets them moving within 30 days. Don't wait any longer - your client deserves resolution.
Filed with NCUC against Duke last year after 8 months of stalling. Got full refund plus interest within 60 days of the commission opening their case. Wish I'd done it sooner.
That's it - filing with NCUC tomorrow. This is beyond reasonable. Will update when I hear something. Thanks for the push, everyone.
Quick update: NCUC opened the case and Duke settled within 3 weeks. Full $85K refund plus 6% interest. Unbelievable how fast they moved once the commission got involved.
