Anyone familiar with Georgia Power's formal complaint process? I have a client who was misclassified on Rate Schedule GS-1 instead of GS-2 for two years. Informal dispute got nowhere. What's the next step with Georgia PSC?

Georgia Power formal complaint process
Stuart, Georgia PSC has a pretty straightforward formal complaint process. You file Form PSC-14 and pay a $25 fee. Include all your documentation showing the misclassification. Georgia Power usually settles before it goes to hearing.
Make sure you calculate the full impact including demand charges and time-of-use differentials. Georgia Power will lowball the settlement if you don't show the complete financial impact upfront.
Thanks Susan and Patricia. Filed the PSC-14 yesterday. Calculated $18,500 in overcharges between the rate differentials and higher demand charges. Hope they're reasonable about settling.
