DTE customer service completely useless

Is it just me or is DTE customer service absolutely terrible for commercial disputes? I've been trying to resolve a simple demand billing error for 3 months and keep getting transferred to people who have no clue what they're talking about. Getting ready to just file with the MPSC and skip their internal process entirely.
DTE commercial service is notoriously bad. I always skip regular customer service and go straight to their Key Account managers if possible. Otherwise yes, file with the MPSC - they actually respond faster to commission complaints than their own customers sometimes.
Same experience here. DTE seems to train their customer service reps to just say no and hope you go away. The MPSC route is definitely more effective, though it takes 60-90 days. At least you'll get a real resolution instead of endless runaround.
Thanks for confirming I'm not crazy. Filing the MPSC complaint next week. Client is frustrated too but at least this gives us a clear path forward with actual deadlines.
DTE has definitely gotten worse over the past few years. The MPSC has been pretty responsive to these complaints though - they've noticed the pattern and are putting pressure on DTE to improve their dispute resolution process. Document everything and be specific about the runaround you've gotten.
