AEP Ohio has actually been pretty reasonable in my experience. They're slow but fair. Power factor errors are usually straightforward for them to verify and process.
I agree with Dolores. Had a $23K power factor recovery with them last year. Took 4 months but they paid without argument once they verified the calculations.
