Anyone else having issues with Duke Energy Carolinas dragging their feet? Filed a dispute in March 2017 for $22K demand ratchet error and we're still going back and forth. They keep asking for more documentation.
Duke Energy dispute resolution - 18 months and counting
Duke has been notorious for this lately. I had one take 22 months before they finally paid. Key is to escalate to their regulatory group early - customer service will just run you in circles.
Manny, have you considered filing with the NC Utilities Commission? Sometimes the threat of regulatory involvement gets them moving. Duke hates dealing with formal complaints.
Actually filed the NCUC complaint last month. Duke suddenly got very interested in settling once they got the notice. Meeting scheduled for next week.
