Spent weeks analyzing a client's Ameren Missouri bills, found what looked like a $15K power factor error. Filed the dispute with full documentation. Ameren came back saying their billing was correct all along. Anyone else ever have this happen where you were just wrong?

Ameren Missouri - they found nothing
Happens to all of us Patricia. Sometimes what looks like an error isn't. Better to file and be wrong than miss a real one. How did you break the news to the client?
Client was disappointed but understood. I explained that thorough analysis sometimes reveals the utility was right all along. At least we know for certain now.
