Miracle of miracles - filed a billing dispute with Duke Energy in North Carolina and they actually issued a $6,800 refund check within 30 days. No PUC complaint needed. Has Duke gotten better lately or did I just get lucky?

Duke Energy actually paid within 30 days!
You got lucky Gloria! I'm still waiting 6 months for Duke to process a simple rate schedule correction. Maybe it depends on which state you're in?
Duke Carolina has been better than Duke Florida in my experience. Florida takes forever for everything.
This was North Carolina, so maybe Omar is right about the state difference. Either way, client is thrilled!
