Client implemented our recommendations 6 months ago. Should I be doing follow-up reports to show actual vs. projected savings? How often do you guys circle back with clients?

Follow-up Reports - How Often?
Lester, I do 6-month and 1-year follow-ups automatically. Shows you care about results, not just the initial audit fee. Plus it often leads to additional work when they see the value.
I offer follow-up reports as part of the original package. "We'll check back in 6 months to verify results." Clients love the ongoing support and it differentiates me from competition.
Craig, do you charge extra for those follow-ups or include them in the original audit price? Trying to figure out the business model here.
I include first follow-up in original price, charge for subsequent ones. Shows commitment to results but also values ongoing relationship. Works well for client retention.
Neil's right about follow-ups leading to more work. I've gotten referrals and repeat business just from showing up with progress reports. Most auditors disappear after the initial report.
