Video Presentations - Worth the Investment?

Considering creating video presentations for audit findings instead of traditional written reports. Thinking it might be more engaging for busy executives. Has anyone tried this approach? Seems like it could help explain complex utility billing concepts more clearly, but not sure about the time investment.
Brian, I've done a few video summaries as supplements to written reports. Great for executive overviews - 5-10 minute walkthrough of key findings. But you still need detailed written backup for implementation teams.
Screen recording software like Loom works well for this. I create videos showing actual billing analysis on screen while narrating the findings. Clients can see exactly where the errors occur in their bills.
Video works great for presenting interval data analysis. Being able to animate through demand patterns and highlight anomalies visually is much more effective than static charts in reports.
Time investment is significant though. Takes me about 3x longer to create a polished video versus written summary. Only worth it for high-value clients or complex findings that benefit from visual explanation.
I use video for initial findings presentations, then follow up with detailed written reports. Best of both worlds - engaging overview plus technical documentation for implementation.
Consider your audience. Younger facility managers love video presentations, but older executives often still prefer traditional reports they can print and mark up. Ask clients their preference upfront.
Video presentations definitely set you apart from competitors still doing only written reports. I've landed several new clients who were impressed by the modern approach to findings presentation.
