Thinking about doing some video presentations for remote clients instead of just phone calls with screen sharing. Anyone tried this? Wondering if the personal connection helps with buy-in on recommendations.
Anyone Use Video Presentations?
Joe, I've done a few Zoom presentations during COVID. Definitely better than just phone calls - you can read facial expressions, see if they're engaged or distracted. Technology works pretty well now.
Make sure you have good lighting and a professional background. I learned that the hard way on my first video call - looked like I was presenting from my basement.
I actually prefer video now for initial presentations. Easier to schedule than travel, and you can record the session for clients who want to share with colleagues later.
Good point about recording Jorge. That could be really helpful for complex technical explanations that clients might want to review later. Thanks for the input everyone.
Just make sure you get permission before recording Joe. Some clients are sensitive about that for confidentiality reasons.
