Quality control processes?
I use a standardized checklist for every account and won't sign off until every item is verified. Seems excessive but it's saved me from several embarrassing errors.
Cross-referencing with historical data is crucial. If your findings show a sudden change in billing patterns, make sure it corresponds to actual facility changes or equipment installations.
Tom - I always do a final review 24 hours after completing the initial audit. Fresh eyes catch mistakes you miss when you're deep in the details.
