Quality Control Checklist - What Am I Missing?

Been doing this for a couple years now but want to make sure my QC process is solid. Here's what I currently check before finalizing any audit: 1) Verify rate schedule matches service type 2) Check CT ratio calculations 3) Validate demand readings against ratchet provisions 4) Confirm billing determinants add up 5) Double-check all math. What else should be on this list?
Don't forget to check for fuel adjustment clause calculations and any applicable riders. These can be significant but easy to overlook. I also recommend spot-checking your work by recalculating one or two bills from scratch using the utility's published tariff. If your numbers don't match exactly, dig deeper.
One thing that's saved me embarrassment: always check if the customer is receiving any special discounts or incentives that might not be obvious from the bills. Economic development rates, interruptible service credits, things like that. Had a case where I thought ComEd was overcharging until I realized the client qualified for a special manufacturing rate.
Robert, you've got the basics covered. I'd add: verify the effective dates of any rate changes during your audit period, check for power factor penalties or credits, and make sure you're using the right seasonal rates if applicable. Also always validate your meter multiplier - seen too many audits thrown off by incorrect multipliers.
